In our modern world, children sit around too much playing with smartphones, tablets or other devices or watching TV. Children can spend hours a day engrossed in these sedentary activities. Screen time should be limited to 1 hour or less per day for children from the ages of 2-5 years. Instead, children should be involved in some kind of physical activity or exercise.
Circle time is a part of our morning routine at inK Learning. The children and teachers gather together and sit in a circle and greet one another, sing together, listen to one another, share thoughts and build a sense of community.
An inclusive environment provides a platform where children are encouraged to participate regardless of their abilities. It helps children maximise their potential based on individual capabilities and promotes social acceptance. Here, teachers design their lessons and teach in ways that allow every child to be involved.
